We are ready for 'cross season here at MBW.  We have everything you need to get your bike ready for cyclocross season.  With the new 'cross season come the new bikes for the 2010/2011 season.  The biggest development we are seeing this year are carbon fiber cyclocross bikes.  Carbon fiber frames made a few appearances the last couple of years but it was only during this past off season that the new carbon frames really began to take hold.  Here at MBW we stock some of the finest cyclocross bikes in the world.  From the Multi time World Championship winning Ridley 'cross bikes to the Multi time National Championship winning cyclocross bikes from KONA and Cannondale. Stop in to test ride a Ridley X-Fire or X-Ride 

The 2011 Major Jake is going to continue its legacy as one of the finest cyclocross bikes around.  KONA continues with their highly regarded and race proven geometry but update the frame material to carbon fiber.  An oversized headtube and beefed-up bottom bracket will make this one of the most responsive Major's ever. The carbon fiber frame will ensure a very light weight bike with an amazingly comfortable ride.

We also have a couple of great upgrades your already race worthy bike.  How about Swiss Stop four season brake pads.  These brake pads provide the best stopping power for your brakes regardless of whether you run aluminum rims or carbon fiber rims.  They work great in both wet and dry conditions.

Speaking of wet conditions, if you want to keep your shifting and braking smooth and solid during a full season of cross consider installing the Gore sealed low friction cables system.  We have been using these cable the last couple of years and have not found a better set of cables and housing anywhere.
